This weekend was a good weekend! It involved dog time and family time and down time and craft time!
Saturday started with some training time with Seth at the club building. My schedule didn’t allow me to take a class this session (October/November), and we are entered in my club’s obedience trial in a few weeks, so I need to stay on top of training! I don’t have a big enough space at home to work on heeling as much as I want, so I’m hoping we can make it 3-4 more times to the building before the trial!
Since I was near a Starbucks, I stopped in on my way home for a Venti Iced Green Tea. I don’t have a Starbucks near me, so I take advantage of the one I drive right by when I’m at the club building!
After doing a few things around the house, I settled in for the evening to tune into the VT football game (we won!), as well as starting a new craft. I’ve been cross stitching as a way to relieve stress, and I have been hoping to get one done for part of a Christmas gift. It came in the mail yesterday, so I started it last night. I never thought I’d be cross stitching, but here I am!
I was up early Sunday morning to enjoy some coffee and meal planning before heading to the grocery store.
I was in Massachusetts in mid-September, and my diet has stayed on vacation diet since getting back home. I’ve been sluggish and had low energy, and I’m sure part of it is my food choices. So, I have a plan for the week – both menu and workouts, because workouts have been lacking too. Partly because of some neck and back pain, and partly because I just didn’t feel like it. But I’m getting back to it this week!
The rest of Sunday involved cooking, family time, a nap, and laundry. Fun stuff around here!
And just because I’m excited, my mom is making me a quilt! This is the finished top! It is white and various shades/patterns all in pink. Next is the border, picking a back fabric, and then quilting. I’m excited to have something made from her on my bed!
How did you spend your weekend? Do anything fun?
